1. Definitions

• "Estora", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Estora, a service operating from 11, Jalan Lintas, 88300 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
• "Service" — refers to any educational session, records organisation service, or legacy archive programme offered by Estora, as described on this website.
• "User", "you", "your" — refers to any individual accessing the website or engaging a Service.
• "Content" — refers to all text, materials, checklists, glossaries, and resources produced by Estora and provided to clients.
• "Agreement" — refers to these Terms together with any service engagement confirmation provided to you.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or engaging our Services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Description of Services

Estora provides educational and practical record-organisation services in the area of estate and legacy preparation. Our three services are:

• Keepsake Orientation Session (RM 600) — general educational overview of estate record types and relevant Malaysian official bodies.
• Family Records Organisation Service (RM 2,050) — practical assistance gathering, sorting, and labelling personal records.
• Complete Legacy Archive Programme (RM 4,600) — combined education, organisation, and professional question preparation over four to six weeks.

4. Payment Terms

• All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
• Payment is due before or at the commencement of a service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• Any additional materials or services requested beyond the agreed scope will be discussed and confirmed before any additional charge is incurred.

Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session: full refund.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of a scheduled session: 50% refund.
• No-show without notice: no refund.
• If Estora cancels or reschedules a session, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

5. User Responsibilities

When using our website or engaging our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in all communications and enquiry forms.
• Use the website and services for lawful purposes only.
• Not reproduce, distribute, or resell any Estora Content without prior written permission.
• Not misrepresent the nature of Estora's services to third parties.
• Engage with our team respectfully and in good faith.

6. Intellectual Property

All Content produced by Estora — including checklists, folder systems, glossaries, resource lists, archive binders, and website materials — remains the intellectual property of Estora. By engaging a service, you receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the materials provided for your own family preparation purposes. You may not reproduce or distribute them commercially.

• No professional advice: Estora's services are general education and record organisation only. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or estate administration advice. Nothing communicated by Estora should be relied upon as advice for your personal situation.
• No outcomes: We make no representations about the outcome of any professional process you undertake after engaging our services. Individual results will depend on your specific circumstances and the professionals you choose to work with.
• Website accuracy: We aim to keep information on this website accurate and current, but we cannot warrant that it is always complete or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Estora's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service to which the claim relates.

We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or any outcome arising from decisions made on the basis of our educational sessions.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate a service engagement by giving written notice. In such cases:

• Fees for sessions already delivered are non-refundable.
• Fees for sessions not yet delivered will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
• All materials produced to the point of termination will be provided to the client.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sabah, Malaysia.

Before commencing any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion. Please contact us at [email protected] in the first instance.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
