Why Families Choose Estora

A Calmer Way to Prepare

We focus on clarity, not complexity — helping you feel informed and organised, so conversations with the right professionals can happen more smoothly.

Education-First Approach

We never cross into legal or financial advice. Everything we offer is clearly framed as general education so you always know where our role ends and a professional's begins.

Gentle, No-Pressure Sessions

Our sessions move at your pace. Topics like estate records and family affairs can feel sensitive — we approach every conversation with warmth and patience.

Practical, Tangible Outputs

You leave with real, usable materials — organised folders, checklists, and resource lists — not just information. Your family will be able to use what we prepare together.

Clear Signposting to Professionals

When formal steps are needed, we point you clearly toward the right registered practitioners — lawyers, notaries, estate administrators — so nothing falls through the gaps.

Plain Language, Always

Estate and legacy topics are often wrapped in confusing terminology. We translate everything into plain, everyday English so you can engage with confidence.

Locally Based in Sabah

Based in Kota Kinabalu, we understand the local context, cultural considerations, and Malaysian administrative frameworks that shape how families here approach these matters.

Take a Step Forward

Would Your Family Know Where to Find Everything?

If the honest answer is "probably not", you're not alone. Many families in Sabah and across Malaysia are in the same position. Our sessions help you change that — quietly, carefully, and at a pace that suits you.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is estate organisation education?
Estate organisation education means learning — in plain language — how records, documents, and affairs are generally structured within families, and which professionals and official bodies are responsible for different formal steps. We do not provide legal or financial advice, draft documents, or represent anyone in official matters.
Do I need a lawyer or financial adviser to attend your sessions?
No. Our sessions are open to anyone who wants to better understand how estate records are typically organised. We will, however, help you identify the moments when engaging a registered solicitor, financial planner, or estate administrator would be the appropriate next step.
How long does each service take?
The Keepsake Orientation Session typically runs two to three hours in a single sitting. The Family Records Organisation Service usually involves two to three working sessions spread over one to two weeks. The Complete Legacy Archive Programme spans four to six weeks, with regular check-ins and follow-up support included.
Will my personal information be kept private?
Yes. Any information you share with us is treated with full discretion and used solely to support your session. We do not share personal details with third parties. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.
Can sessions be conducted in Bahasa Malaysia?
Our primary materials are in English. If you prefer to discuss matters in Bahasa Malaysia, please let us know when you enquire and we will do our best to accommodate your preference during the session.
Are sessions held in person or online?
We offer sessions both at our office in Kota Kinabalu and via video call for those who prefer to meet remotely. Please mention your preference when you get in touch and we will make the necessary arrangements.
What does the payment cover and are there any hidden fees?
The stated fee covers all session time, materials (folder systems, checklists, glossaries, and resource lists), and any agreed follow-up support. There are no hidden charges. If any additional materials are needed that were not discussed upfront, we will always seek your agreement before incurring any cost.
